Spiritual Journey: Joy, Bliss, Vampires need not apply

Updated: Feb 25, 2022

Inspired, no doubt, by Oprah Winfrey's, interviewing skills, Will Smith finds a way to place a vampire in an adverb (maybe not as effective as a garlic, but points for innovation).

Comparison:

Will Smith: “The spiritual journey is finding your joy and bliss without vampirically using others.

One word! One "V" word and Will Smith manages to warn us away from a path that may provide some satisfaction, but no joy or bliss in the long run.

Context:

[Will Smith in an interview with Oprah Winfrey addresses the necessity for people in a marriage (including his with Jada Smith) to recognize that they can never find any human who will solve all problems and be everything a mate needs to be in order to have life happiness as he calls to mind the “epic war with myself” to try and make yourself happy or contented]

Will Smith: The spiritual journey is finding your joy and bliss without vampirically using others. So the Will journey and the Jada journey is finding that joy without medication. Finding that joy without distraction. Right? It’s about being able to find that contentment within yourself—not with external stimuli.
